Step by Step – Painting the Strain
I promised I’d do a step-by step tutorial for my process of fast-painting my Sedition Wars minis, so here’s the first one: another Strain chappie who would really like to be your friend (or at least share his nano-virus with you.)
I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.
Hope you found that useful and I hope the long image format is ok. If you have any specific questions about any step then feel free to pop a comment below and I’ll do my best to provide an answer.
Next up will be a similar step-by-step but for a Vanguard trooper. I painted the two side by side and took pics at the same time so all I need to do is composite them and add some annotations.
Watch this space.
Very Nice. And really cool result. How much are airbrush work. i love using airbrush. Are all the white highligts with brush work or airbrush. And the same with washes?
But will try this out. Really cool stuff you do!!!!

The airbrush was just used in the first step, everything after that was brushed on – be it paint for highlights, or washes for shading.
